My love for the fiddle came in 2008 at the age of 10, when my school in Saskatoon received a small batch of fiddles, which exposed me to the circles of John Arcand, Karrnnel Sawitsky, and Gordon Stobbe, which gave me the opportunity to learn from some of the best fiddlers in the world.
I built my first fiddle in the summer of 2016 with John Arcand in Saskatchewan, Canada. After learning from John, I began studying the work of many master luthiers, studying the construction of violins, bows, and other stringed instruments.
I build by hand, combining modern and traditional building methods. I strive to provide the trio of ideal characteristics. Playability, aesthetics and superb tone.
Currently based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I’m open to visits by appointment.
